Nikolai Pareliussen is a Norwegian economist holding a MSc in Economics with a specialisation in Public Policy from the University of Amsterdam after having previously completed a BSc in Economics at Utrecht University. With a split childhood between Norway and France, and higher education in the Netherlands, he aspires to make economics and policy issues more transparent and accessible to all types of people. In fact, he almost tragically named this website nikonomics.com.

This website exists because Nikolai wanted to immortalise his knowledge and perspective gained on topics within economics, public policy, and other life lessons with a non-trivial and easy-to-digest twist.
